New in Google Docs: Drawing Editor and Real-Time Collaboration

Google announced new major features in Google Docs: they introduced a Drawing Editor and Real-Time Collaboration.

Major features are: introducing Google Wave's real-time, character-by-character editing for multiple users, as-you-type spell check and a new commenting system.

For DOC files they added a ruler to control margins in the documents, improved way how images interact in the document.

For XLS you can now view multiple sheets, drag and drop columns, use auto fill, edit a cell from the formula bar.

The cool addition is also a chat while you collaborate!

Google also says they significantly improved the speed of their online Office suite.
